I have a 93 sc300 that i blew the motor on i bought a 97 sc300 that was totaled so i bought it so i could swap the motor. Know i was asking around and people are telling me that i must swap the dash and all the electricals behind the dash from the 97 to the 93 inorder for everything to work. Is this true, partly true or not true at all. If it is partly true could you please tell me what specific things i must swap. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

93 is a non VVTi engine
97 is a VVTi engine so you will need to at least change harness and ECM. I do not know if the 97 ECM will work with the stock 93 trans either.
