 Most are black,white or silver and the few I have found on the internet in Cypress Pearl did not have navigation or had too many miles for buying a warranty. Would like to keep the price in the range of $35,000, including extended warranty. Could travel to anywhere in the west to drive the car to Los Angeles. I don't think the mileage makes any difference if I can get 3 or 4 years and about 40-50K miles under warranty. Dealer prices on CPO cars seem to be near retail which places them over my budget. Probably the best deal would be a private party who has a transferable aftermarket warranty with some years and miles left on it. The Jaguar I am driving had 24,000 miles and 24 months left on the Jaguar warranty when I bought it from a private party. Incidently, he bought small Lexus. I am down now to about 12 months and 10K miles. Time is running out.
If any of you have been also looking to buy an LS430, I would be interested in your experience.
UPDATE: 8/24/07 Bought a 2001 LS430 w/Nav Cypress Sea color. Also, an extended warrany for 4 more years and 60K more miles. Paid $24K for a clean one owner car, so I have saved at least $16K but I didn't get a 6 speed transmission and the variable valve timing features and the color is lighter than my preferred cypress pearl color which comes in the 2004 models. Well, maybe next time.
