Help!
I'm ready to leave on vacation and I've had two warning come on at the same time!--- check engine and VSC.
I have a 2001 RX300 AWD with 62,000 miles.
The OBD code # is 1135. This seems to indicate A/F Hrt Cir.
Bank 1 Sensor 1.
I ran STP full system fuel cleaner thru the engine for a week. I reset the computer (disconnected the plus battery terminal) for about three mintues, but the indicators came back on after I started the car, in about 1 minute.
Is this one or two problems? What is bank 1  sensor 1?
As I stand at the front of the engine, there is a sensor in the manifold at the front of the engine.
I don't want to buy a Ox. sensor if I don't need it. They are expensive!
Is the vehicle safe to drive? It runs great--no miss and no rough idle! PLEASE HELP ME!!

I think it will cause poor fuel economy. If there are no other choice, you have buy Lexus oxygen sensor for your car performance protection. If your problem is high price, you can rely on ebays. I know there's a lot of cheap one out there. Goodluck!

you will be ok cause it is the heater circuit inside the o2 sensor that is bad not the o2 itself. thats what is throwing that code. the o2 just won''t heat up and produce a usable signal to the computer as quick. one the engine has warmed up for a little bit the o2 should be reading just fine. there is an updated part to take care of that concern. i would replace it but it would be OK FOR THE TIME BEING. good luck!
