Hi, i am new in this forum! My name is Anton from Bulgaria and i have a Lexus RX300 with the 3 liter V6 24 valves engine.
I am quite pleased with the vehicle''''s performance but i am extremly dissatisfied with it''''s traction. Recently i was racing a Citroen XM with similar engin (3.0 V6 24 valves) and manual gearbox and i lost the 400 meters race big time... I''''ve had the start but when the citroen put into secon gear it pulled 2 meters ahead...
I was in manual gear shifting. i''''m thinking that if the TC is off that is possible to win the 400 m. with the Citro...

Please if there is someone who can tell me how to turn off the God damn traction i will be very thankful (Iff possible to be turned off on the RX300)!
My Lexus is the 2006 year model
Thanks in advance...

Anton Feldsherov

Unless you happened to encounter a slippery section on the roadbed it is HIGHLY unlikely that TC interferred with your drag race.

But in the future if you wish to disable TC/VSC all you need to do is temporarily disconnect the MAF/IAT module.

Google for:

wwest maf/iat disable

For more explicit directions.
