Hi//
New on the Forum. Am looking for info on the 400h. Thinking aboout buying a 2008 model. Very interested in finding out what changes are expected in 2008.

Welcome to the board and the 2008 RX 400h is already out and about at most dealerships ....... The MY09 won't be available until August of 2008, Nothing has been mentioned about Major or minor changes to the RX for 2009. What sort of information are you looking for on the 2008 RX 400h???

Hi All --- My wife and I just ordered a 2008 RX400h from the dealer down here in Miami, FL. He still has not heard the pricing yet and he didn't even have a brochure for the 2008 showing exterior / interior color combos (even though his other dealership did have the brochures). We wanted to order the Brandywine ext with the grey leather int & blk wood. The brochure does not show Brandywine as available in the 400h even though it is available in the RX350. I've already had an email from Tom saying that he thought all 350 colors would be available on the 400h in 2008. The car has to be ordered / built in Japan and will take another 3 - 4 months. Has anyone heard if this color and it's combinations will be available - especially considering it's a "special order"?

brandywine is not available on the rx400h.... it can be special ordered to my knowledge, but the problem with that is.......

you have to leave a deposit and it usually is non refundable.
you are stuck with whatever package they put on the vehicle.
and the most hurtful part...... you are unable to negotiate the price of the car.

those are some important factors to look at when you are custom ordering a car. Unless you are 100% sure that you can't live without that color, I would look at the other choices of the rx400h and see if any other ones will be suitable.

I work Glendale of Lexus and we move a lot of cars at this dealership, we have over 75 2008 rx400's.... and about 15 rx400h's..... the color combo you are looking for will be difficult to begin with, and 2nd not available in the 400h. if you don't mind paying full sticker and waiting it out, then you are ok.
